Buttercup Butterfly (Phoebis trite)

The Buttercup Butterfly is similar to the Phoebis philea (Orange-Barred Sulphur) in that it has bright yellow coloring; you won't find a brighter yellow butterfly! However, it lacks the 2 orange dots and is a little smaller in comparison. The Buttercup is also a paler shade of yellow, but still just as vibrant and lovely!
